The plane, which had just taken off from a nearby private airport en route to Porto Alegre, went down in the Barra Funda neighborhood, striking a bus and a motorcyclist.

According to the Sao Paulo fire department, one woman on the bus and a motorcyclist sustained injuries from the impact of falling debris. A later statement added that four more individuals suffered minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The identities of the two fatalities have not yet been released.

Local television network TV Globo aired CCTV footage capturing the moment of the crash, showing the plane plummeting onto the avenue near an intersection.
