**Paris, France –** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-day visit to France beginning February 10th, culminating in a bilateral summit with French President Emmanuel Macron and co-chairing the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit. The visit, confirmed by diplomatic sources, will include a VVIP dinner on February 10th, followed by the AI summit on February 11th.
The bilateral talks will commence on the afternoon of February 11th, featuring a CEO roundtable chaired by both leaders. PM Modi will then travel to Marseille to inaugurate a new Indian consulate. Further bilateral discussions and a private dinner will follow in Marseille. The visit concludes on February 12th before PM Modi departs for the United States.
Significant announcements are anticipated in the areas of defense, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), and aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). A joint France-India roadmap on AI is also expected to be adopted.
President Macron previously announced the AI summit, emphasizing its importance for international discussion on AI and highlighting India’s crucial role alongside the US, China, and Gulf States. The India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) is also slated for key discussion during the bilateral talks.
