**Faridabad, Haryana (Feb 7, 2025)** – The 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela opened today, bringing together a vibrant showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage. Running until February 23rd, the mela, organized by the Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism in collaboration with several Union Ministries, promises a spectacular display of handicrafts, handlooms, and diverse culinary experiences.
Over a thousand stalls representing various Indian states will fill the grounds at Surajkund, Faridabad, offering visitors a journey through India’s artistic landscape. This year, the mela features enhanced accessibility with a new partnership with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Tickets are available online via the DMRC app, at select Delhi Metro stations, on-site, and at dedicated ticket booths at the venue. Weekday tickets cost Rs 120, while weekend tickets are Rs 180. Offline tickets are sold at all metro stations from 9 AM to 6 PM daily and at the Mela venue itself.
Daily from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, visitors can explore the diverse crafts, enjoy a variety of cuisines, and witness captivating cultural performances at the open-air Chaupal featuring renowned artists.
