**NORTH LAWRENCE, NY** – A Queens man faces multiple charges after a robbery at a local Target store Tuesday evening. Angel Rodriguez, 43, was apprehended following an incident at the Target on Rockaway Boulevard just after 5:30 p.m. Police say Rodriguez concealed merchandise under his clothing and left the store without paying. When confronted by loss prevention officers, he allegedly shoved an employee before fleeing the scene. Officers quickly located and arrested Rodriguez nearby without further incident.
Rodriguez is charged with third-degree robbery, petty larceny, obstructing governmental administration, and tampering with physical evidence. He was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
