**Thiruvananthapuram, February 6, 2025** – Kerala Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal will present the state’s budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year this Friday, February 7th, at 9 a.m. in the State Legislative Assembly. The presentation will also include the Economic Review 2024 and the final supplementary financial statement for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

The budget session, which began January 17th with the Governor’s policy address, resumed after a brief adjournment. General discussion on the budget is scheduled for February 10th, 11th, and 12th. Further legislative actions include the consideration of the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development (Amendment) Bill, 2024, and a bill establishing a commission for elderly citizens on February 13th.
