**Tiruchi, February 6, 2025** – A 50-year-old assistant headmaster of a government school in Tiruchi district was arrested on Wednesday under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. P. Nagarajan faces charges of sexually harassing several underage female students.

Following complaints, the District Child Protection Officer and Child Helpline staff investigated the allegations. The subsequent complaint filed with the Manapparai All Women Police Station led to Nagarajan’s arrest and remand. Police confirmed the details of the arrest and ongoing investigation.
