**New Delhi:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a final appeal to Delhi voters on Wednesday, urging them to exercise their franchise in the crucial state assembly elections. In a message on X (formerly Twitter), Modi extended a special greeting to first-time voters, encouraging participation in what he called a “festival of democracy.” He famously quipped, ” *Pahle matdaan, phir jalpaan* ” (First vote, then breakfast/snack), emphasizing the importance of voting before anything else. The BJP, under Modi’s leadership, has waged a vigorous campaign against the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which has held power in Delhi since 2015. All 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly are up for grabs in today’s elections.
