Tue Feb 04 23:08:20 IST 2025: ## Three Security Personnel Injured in Chhattisgarh Maoist IED Attack
**Bijapur, Chhattisgarh –** Three security personnel were injured in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, on Tuesday during an anti-Maoist operation. Two suffered injuries from a pressure-activated improvised explosive device (IED), while a third sustained injuries after stepping on a spike trap.
The incident occurred in a forest bordering Bijapur and Dantewada districts, where a joint team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were conducting operations. Preliminary reports indicate the Maoists were responsible for planting the IED and spike trap.
The injured personnel received immediate first aid at the scene before being airlifted to Raipur for advanced medical treatment. Their condition is currently unknown. The operation continues.
