**Mumbai, India** – Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s Hindi film debut, *Deva*, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, saw a dip in box office collections on its fourth day, but still managed a respectable total. The film, released on January 31st, raked in approximately ₹21.36 crore net in India by Monday, according to Sacnilk.

While the opening day saw a strong ₹5.5 crore collection, the weekend brought further success with ₹6.4 crore on Saturday and ₹7.25 crore on Sunday. Monday’s collections dipped to around ₹2.21 crore, resulting in an overall occupancy of 7.53%. The production house, Roy Kapur Films, reported a gross total of ₹34.01 crore globally, including ₹8.30 crore in India and ₹3.45 crore overseas by the end of day three.

Prior to the release, Shahid Kapoor addressed comparisons to his blockbuster *Kabir Singh*, emphasizing that *Deva*’s character is distinct. The film, a remake of the Malayalam film *Mumbai Police*, received mixed reviews, though Shahid’s performance garnered praise. The film follows ACP Dev Ambre (Shahid Kapoor), who loses his memory while investigating his best friend’s murder, alongside his lover, Diya Sathaye (Pooja Hegde).
