**Kuala Lumpur, Feb 3, 2025** – India defended its ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup title with a resounding nine-wicket victory over South Africa in Sunday’s final. The Indian team’s dominance extended beyond the final match, as they secured four spots in the tournament’s “Team of the Tournament.”
Player of the Tournament, G Trisha, led the Indian contingent with a remarkable 309 runs, including the first-ever century in the competition, and seven wickets. She was joined in the Team of the Tournament by teammates G Kamalini, Ayushi Shukla (14 wickets), and Vaishnavi Sharma (17 wickets, including a hat-trick).
