**East Rutherford, NJ** – Singer SZA, a Maplewood native and Columbia High School alumna, added another Grammy to her collection Sunday night. The R&B star won her fifth Grammy Award for Best R&B Song, taking home the prize for her hit track “Saturn.” This win comes after a previous nomination for Best R&B Performance, and brings her total Grammy wins to five, with 26 nominations overall since 2018.
SZA’s latest achievement follows the massive success of her album “SOS,” which topped the Billboard charts for 11 weeks and recently returned to the number one spot, marking the longest gap between weeks at number one for any album. She is also set to perform with Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl Halftime Show next Sunday and will join him for concerts at MetLife Stadium on May 8th and 9th.
Other New Jersey artists were also nominated at the Grammy Awards. Jack Antonoff received six nominations, while Steven Van Zandt was nominated for Best Music Film.
