**HYDERABAD, February 3, 2025** – KP Chowdhary, a film producer previously arrested in connection with a major drug trafficking case, was found dead in Goa on Monday. Police have indicated that he died by suicide, citing underlying health issues and potential financial difficulties as contributing factors.
Chowdhary, who was implicated in the Varalakshmi Tiffin drugs case, was arrested by Narsingi police for his alleged role in supplying drugs to several celebrities. He was later taken into custody by Rajendranagar police after being apprehended while transporting drugs from Goa. Authorities seized 90 packets of cocaine from him, part of a larger shipment of 100 packets.
Chowdhary’s arrest brought increased scrutiny to the alleged links between the film industry and drug trafficking in the region. His death follows a period of significant upheaval, including legal battles and the intense public attention surrounding his involvement in the drug case.
