Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh – The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed retired IPS officer A.B. Venkateswara Rao as the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation Limited (APSPHCL). The appointment was announced Saturday by the Home Department’s Principal Secretary, Kumar Vishwajit. Rao, a 1989 batch IPS officer, will serve a two-year term. He retired on May 31, 2023, after a long career with the police department, holding key positions including Vijayawada Police Commissioner, Head of Intelligence, and Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
