Fri Jan 24 14:00:00 UTC 2025: **Another YCP Leader to Resign from Rajya Sabha, Quit Politics**

Amaravati, January 24, 2025 – The exodus of senior leaders from the YSR Congress Party (YCP) continues. Following the recent announcement by senior leader Vijay Sai Reddy of his resignation from the Rajya Sabha and retirement from politics, another prominent leader, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, is reportedly set to follow suit.

Rami Reddy, a two-time MLA from Mangalagiri and brother of Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, is currently abroad. Sources indicate he will resign from his Rajya Sabha seat and leave active politics upon his return to India.

This latest development follows a string of high-profile departures from the YCP. Already, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and Bida Mastan Rao resigned from both their Rajya Sabha memberships and the party itself, subsequently joining the TDP. Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, a close relative of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, also defected to the Jana Sena Party.

The spate of resignations is reportedly causing concern within the YCP leadership, prompting speculation about further departures and the reasons behind Vijay Sai Reddy’s sudden exit from politics after a long career with the party. The party is said to be analyzing the situation and its potential impact.
