**Hyderabad, January 24, 2025** – The Telangana State government will erect a statue of Ratan Tata in Adibhatla, Ranga Reddy district, in recognition of his philanthropic contributions, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced Thursday. The exact location will be finalized after consultations with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy upon his return from Davos.

The announcement came during a ceremony where Reddy laid the foundation stone for a ₹25 crore Adibhatla to Mangalpally road project. The Minister praised Tata’s philanthropy, noting significant donations and the employment opportunities provided by Tata companies in the region. He highlighted the government’s collaboration with Tata companies using CSR funds to upgrade ITIs and develop skill centers.

Reddy also detailed ongoing and planned infrastructure developments, including the expansion of NH-65, RRR, and other national and state highways. He confirmed government approval for extending the Metro to Shamirpet to boost overall development.

The Minister took the opportunity to criticize the opposition BRS party, claiming their Pharma City project is detrimental to the public. He emphasized the significant investments secured by the Telangana government from various companies, attributing this success to the government’s commitment to development and welfare.
