**Cape Canaveral, FL –** SpaceX successfully launched another batch of Starlink internet satellites early Friday morning, marking the 401st successful booster landing for the company. The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying the Starlink 11-6 mission, lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East in California at 6:07 a.m. PST (9:07 a.m. EST).
The mission utilized Falcon 9 booster 1063, a veteran booster making its 23rd flight. This experienced booster previously supported numerous missions, including three for the National Reconnaissance Office, NASA’s DART mission, and 14 prior Starlink launches. Eight minutes after liftoff, the booster successfully landed on the droneship “Of Course I Still Love You,” marking the 118th landing on that vessel.
This launch comes as SpaceX prepares for another Falcon 9 mission scheduled for Sunday from Cape Canaveral. This launch will see a vertical, rocket-assisted landing at a decommissioned Cold War-era launch facility nearby. Meanwhile, Friday also saw a successful spacewalk at the International Space Station, where astronauts Jeff Williams and Kate Rubins installed a new docking mechanism for future U.S. crew spacecraft.
