**NEW DELHI** – Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 version of its popular Activa scooter in the Indian market. Available in three variants (STD, DLX, and H-Smart) starting at ₹80,950 (ex-showroom), the new model boasts an array of updated features and an improved engine.
While the design remains largely unchanged, featuring six color options including some carryovers from the previous generation, the 2025 Activa receives a significant upgrade in its technology. A key addition is a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling features such as navigation and call notifications. A USB Type-C charger is also included.
Under the hood, the scooter features an updated OBD2B compliant 109.51 cc single-cylinder engine producing 7.8 hp at 8,000 rpm and 9.05 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. To enhance fuel efficiency, Honda has incorporated an idling stop system.
The 2025 Honda Activa will compete against established rivals such as the TVS Jupiter and Hero Pleasure Plus XTEC in the highly competitive Indian scooter market, where the Activa consistently enjoys strong sales figures.
