LONDON – The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), owner of Lord’s Cricket Ground, today announced the launch of a new digital platform offering fans unprecedented access to the “Home of Cricket.” The platform will feature early access to international match tickets, exclusive content, coaching masterclasses, and various discounts and offers.

In addition to the new digital platform, MCC revealed the formation of a new World Cricket Connects Advisory Board. This independent board will shape the annual World Cricket Connects forum, a leading symposium designed to address strategic issues and ensure the future success of cricket globally. The board replaces the MCC World Cricket Committee and will include influential figures from across the cricket world.

The second annual World Cricket Connects forum will be held at Lord’s on June 7th and 8th, 2025, preceding the ICC World Test Championship Final. The event will bring together administrators, broadcasters, technology experts, coaches, and current and former players to discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the sport.

Chair of MCC, Mark Nicholas, expressed excitement about the new initiatives, stating, “We are delighted to be bringing World Cricket Connects back to Lord’s… We are looking forward to welcoming many of the game’s most influential figures to debate the most important topics that dominate global cricket.” He also highlighted the impressive composition of the new Advisory Board, emphasizing its potential to positively impact the global game.

Lord’s Cricket Ground also boasts a wide range of events, from domestic to international matches, catering to all cricket fans. The ground’s shops offer a variety of merchandise for visitors to take home a piece of cricket history. The MCC employs around 200 full-time staff across various departments.
