**Bengaluru, India (January 23, 2025)** — Samsung Electronics launched its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series on Wednesday, featuring three models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The launch marks Samsung’s first major global product release of 2025 and showcases a strong push towards integrating advanced generative AI capabilities into its flagship smartphones.
The new series boasts the AI-powered One UI 7 operating system built on Android 15, enabling features such as image generation from text prompts, “circle to search,” call transcription, and writing and drawing assistance. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor – the latest from Qualcomm – the Galaxy S25 series will directly compete with other recently launched flagships using the same chipset, including the OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, and Realme GT 7 Pro.
Samsung highlighted significant camera improvements, including a 50MP ultrawide sensor (up from 12MP in the previous generation) and an “Audio eraser” feature for video noise reduction. The Galaxy S25 Ultra distinguishes itself with a durable titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection.
