Wed Jan 22 20:00:00 UTC 2025: ## “Frasier” Revival Cancelled by Paramount+, Future Uncertain

**Los Angeles, CA** – After just two seasons, Paramount+ has cancelled the “Frasier” revival, according to Variety. The decision comes despite the show’s three Emmy nominations and the star power of Kelsey Grammer, who reprised his iconic role and served as executive producer.

CBS Studios, which produced the series, will now actively seek a new streaming or broadcast home for the show. However, a return to CBS itself seems unlikely, given their already robust comedy lineup. NBC, the original network for the hugely successful “Frasier” (1993-2004), is a potential candidate, as they could potentially use the revival to bolster their comedy programming.

Grammer, in an interview with Variety last year, expressed his hope for a long run, aiming for “another 100 episodes at least.” He envisioned a “sillier” take on the beloved sitcom, eager to explore the further development of the established characters.

The revival starred Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro, and Anders Keith alongside Grammer. The first two seasons remain available to stream on Paramount+. The show’s future, however, hangs in the balance as CBS Studios searches for a new platform to continue the Crane family’s story.
