**CLEMSON, S.C.** – Chase Hunter’s 23-point performance led the Clemson Tigers to an 86-72 victory over the Syracuse Orange Wednesday night in an ACC clash. Hunter’s hot shooting, including 4-of-5 from three-point range in the first half, propelled Clemson to a commanding lead. The Tigers’ strong offensive performance, shooting 56% from the field, combined with a 19-4 advantage in points off turnovers, proved decisive.

Viktor Lakhin contributed a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Clemson (16-4, 8-1 ACC), who extended their impressive conference record. Jaeden Zackery added 14 points and Ian Schieffelin chipped in 11. Clemson’s dominance was particularly evident in the first half, where they shot 58% and outscored Syracuse 48-29. While Syracuse’s JJ Starling scored 25 points and Eddie Lampkin added 14 (with Syracuse shooting 54%), a late rally couldn’t overcome Clemson’s early lead.

Clemson’s next game is Saturday at Virginia Tech, while Syracuse hosts Pitt.
