**Mangaluru, January 23, 2025:** A unisex salon, Colors, located near the KSRTC bus stand in Bejai, Mangaluru, was attacked on Wednesday by a group of individuals allegedly belonging to the Rama Sene. The assailants, numbering around ten, reportedly assaulted two staff members and caused significant damage to the salon’s property.
Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal stated that the group entered the salon around 11:50 a.m., verbally abusing the staff and accusing them of engaging in immoral activities. One assailant was reportedly seen filming the incident. A case has been registered at the Barke police station based on a complaint filed by the salon owner.
Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara, speaking to reporters in Udupi, assured that the accused will be arrested. He condemned the attack, stating that taking the law into one’s own hands is unacceptable and that those who suspected illegal activity should have filed a police complaint instead. The police are investigating the incident.
