**New Delhi, India** – Royal Enfield has launched its highly anticipated Scram 440 motorcycle in India. Priced competitively starting at ₹2.08 lakh (approximately $25,000 USD) for the Trail variant and ₹2.15 lakh (approximately $26,000 USD) for the Force variant, the Scram 440 represents a modest price increase of ₹1300 over its predecessor, the Scram 411.
The new model boasts a powerful 443cc air/oil-cooled engine generating 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This combination promises a superior touring experience, making it ideal for long rides.
While maintaining a design similar to the Scram 411, featuring a round headlight, large fuel tank, and slim tail section, the Scram 440 offers upgraded features and a more premium look in its Force variant. Suspension consists of telescopic forks and a monoshock, with single disc brakes on both wheels.
Royal Enfield continues to target younger riders with the Scram 440, capitalizing on the brand’s established popularity both domestically and internationally. The bike is expected to be a strong contender in the market.
