**New Delhi, India** – Royal Enfield has officially launched its highly anticipated Scram 440 motorcycle in the Indian market. Priced competitively at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, it offers a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Scram 411, for a mere ₹1,300 more.

The Scram 440 comes in two variants: Trail and Force, priced at ₹2.08 lakh and ₹2.15 lakh respectively. While the price difference is minimal, the Force variant boasts premium features and enhanced aesthetics.

Powering the Scram 440 is a new 443cc air/oil-cooled engine, generating 25.4bhp and 34Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This upgrade makes it a compelling choice for long-distance touring.

The design remains largely similar to the Scram 411, featuring a round headlight with a small cowl, a large fuel tank, and a slim tail section. However, Royal Enfield has introduced new color options: Force Teal, Force Grey, Force Blue, Trail Green, and Trail Blue, adding to the bike’s visual appeal.

Suspension consists of telescopic forks and a monoshock, providing a comfortable ride. Braking is handled by single disc brakes on both wheels. The Trail variant uses 19/17-inch spoke wheels with tube-type tires, while the Force variant gets alloy wheels and tubeless tires.

Notable features include an LED headlight, switchable dual-channel ABS, and an upgraded front brake for improved stopping power.

The Scram 440 will compete with other scramblers in its segment, including the Triumph Scrambler 400X and Yezdi Scrambler, but its lower price point makes it a strong contender. With its stylish design, powerful engine, and advanced features, the Scram 440 is poised to become a popular choice for adventure and touring enthusiasts seeking a robust and reliable motorcycle.
