**NEW DELHI, INDIA** – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the opening of 32,438 Group D positions within the Indian Railways, according to a notification released on January 22, 2025. Applications open online at rrbapply.gov.in on January 23rd and close February 22nd.
The roles include pointsman, assistant track machine operator, assistant bridge operator, track manager, and assistant loco shed operator, among others. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹18,000.
Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years old (with age relaxations for reserved categories), possess a 10th-grade pass certificate from a recognized board, and hold an ITI certificate. The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT), physical test, document verification, and medical examination.
