**Hanamkonda, Telangana –** A shocking incident of public murder unfolded on a busy Hanamkonda road yesterday, leaving onlookers stunned and prompting police to criticize the lack of intervention. Raj Kumar was stabbed to death by autorickshaw driver Venkateswarulu in a brutal attack witnessed by a large crowd.
Video footage of the incident shows Venkateswarulu, wearing a white shirt, chasing Kumar, who was wearing a pink shirt. After parking his auto-rickshaw, Venkateswarulu produced a sharp weapon and threatened Kumar before repeatedly stabbing him in the abdomen. Although one bystander in a green shirt attempted to intervene, he was unsuccessful in stopping the attack.
While horrified onlookers filmed the crime, they failed to actively prevent it until after Kumar had succumbed to his injuries. Only after Venkateswarulu attempted to flee in his auto-rickshaw did bystanders intervene, turning the vehicle over and beating the suspect before police arrived to make an arrest.
