**Bengaluru, January 22, 2025** – The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has announced nine new tour packages catering to various destinations in South India. These packages, ranging from one-day trips to six-day excursions, offer diverse options for travelers.

The new itineraries include: a one-day trip to Krishnagiri dam and Hogenakkal falls; two-day packages to Tiruvannamalai-Girivalam and Yagachi-Chikkamagaluru; four-day packages to Kochi-Alleppey, Nandyala-Ahobhilam, and Tamil Nadu Navagraha temples; and five- and six-day packages to Thekkady and Munnar, and Pandharpur-Shirdi-Ellora-Nasik-Kolhapur respectively.

Prices range from ₹1,480 to ₹18,590 per person, with discounts available for double or triple occupancy and a 20% senior citizen discount. These additions complement KSTDC’s existing offerings, including heritage holidays, women’s special tours, and customized packages.

While the Tirupati package was temporarily suspended due to the Vaikunta Ekadashi festival, it has resumed operations. Although the Special Darshan package remains unavailable, the Dharma Darshana package continues to see high demand.

KSTDC General Manager (Transport), Srinath K.S., stated that the new packages were developed based on customer demand and the discounts are intended to encourage greater participation, particularly among senior citizens.
