**COIMBATORE, January 23, 2025** – Amber Group, a technology firm, announced plans to invest nearly ₹25 crore in establishing a new innovation hub in Coimbatore, India. The facility, slated to open by the end of 2025, will accommodate 4,000 employees and serve as both a support center and technology development center.

Currently employing 1,000 software engineers in Coimbatore, Amber Group cited the city’s abundance of engineering colleges as a key factor driving this investment. The hub will support the company’s recent launch of Amber Connect, a vehicle tracking and fleet management product aimed at commercial, two-wheeler, and passenger vehicles.

This investment is part of a larger ₹100-₹200 crore commitment by Amber Group to expand its presence in India over the next year. The company plans to establish at least 10 similar centers in major metropolitan areas across the country. An experience center for Amber Connect is also planned for Coimbatore.
