Wed Jan 22 02:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Ayodhya to Celebrate 41-Day Ramlala Mahotsav
**Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh:** A 41-day Mahotsav celebrating the one-year anniversary of Ram Lalla’s enthronement in the Ayodhya temple is set to begin on January 22nd, 2024. The festivities, following a smaller event held on January 11th by the Ram Mandir Trust, will commence with 56 offerings presented to Ram Lalla, including a Jaipur-made quilt and a 108-kilogram garland.
A grand procession will precede a Dharma Dhwaja Pujan ceremony at the Ram Satsang Bhavan. The procession will feature palanquins carrying Ram Lalla and Hanuman, along with Mahant Kamalnayan Das, successor to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s president. Devotees will participate in devotional singing and dancing. The evening will include a devotional music performance (“bhajans”). A Ram Raksha Yantra will also be consecrated.
The Ram Raksha Stotra recitation, commencing with 251 priests under the guidance of Mahant Kamalnayan Das, will continue for the entire 41 days, with 51 priests continuing the recitation for the remaining 40 days. Astrologer Dr. Rajanan says the event coincides with a significant astrological alignment. Ram Yantra, a sacred amulet, will be presented to Ram Lalla, Hanuman, the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister, and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The event will also honor the Karsevaks who sacrificed for the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
