**Bengaluru, January 21, 2025** – The 12th annual Bengaluru Comic Con, held at the KTPO Trade Centre Whitefield, concluded this week, attracting over 5,000 cosplayers and a large crowd of pop culture enthusiasts. The two-day event celebrated comics, anime, manga, gaming, and everything in between.

Attendees dressed as a wide array of characters, from classic superheroes like Batman and Superman to popular anime figures such as Luffy and Naruto, and even Indian favorites like Chacha Chaudhary and Suppandi. Cosplayers shared their passion, with one attendee highlighting how comics provided solace during childhood moves, and another emphasizing the creativity involved in costume design, which sometimes involved borrowing from friends.

The event featured several special guests, including American comic book writer Ron Marz and award-winning artist Jamal Igle, who shared insights into their careers. Stand-up comedians Rahul Subramanian, Azeen Banatwalla, and Pilot Gomma added to the entertainment, alongside an interactive session with M.A.D.’s Rob and comedian Rohan Joshi.

A wide array of merchandise and comic books were available, including works from Marvel, DC, Indian comic writers, and Japanese manga artists. Gaming enthusiasts enjoyed VR setups and dedicated gaming zones.

Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con India, stated that the event’s success reflects the growing popularity of pop culture in India. He also announced that the Chennai Comic Con is scheduled for February 8th and 9th, 2025. The Bengaluru Comic Con showcased the vibrant and passionate community surrounding pop culture in India.
