Sun Jan 19 04:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Lucy Dacus Announces New Album “Forever Is a Feeling,” Embarks on Extensive Tour

**NEW YORK, NY** – Following the meteoric rise of Boygenius, Lucy Dacus is the first member of the acclaimed indie-folk supergroup to release a solo album. Dacus’s fourth full-length effort, “Forever Is a Feeling,” will drop March 28th via Geffen Records. The announcement comes alongside the release of the music video for the lead single, “Ankles,” a visually striking piece featuring Dacus causing playful chaos in the streets of Paris.

The album boasts an impressive guest list, including fellow Boygenius members Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, along with Hozier, Madison Cunningham, and others. Dacus describes the album’s creation as a period of intense emotional upheaval, stating, “I got kicked in the head with emotions… You have to destroy things in order to create things.” The press release hints at a new level of frankness in Dacus’s songwriting, particularly regarding sexuality and romance.

To support the new album, Dacus will embark on a 13-city tour in April and May, with opening acts Katie Gavin (Muna) and Jasmine.4.t. The tour will hit major venues across North America, including Radio City Music Hall and the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Presale tickets begin January 21st, with general on-sale January 24th. Fans can sign up for presale access at lucydac.us. This tour follows four already sold-out intimate shows in February where Dacus is expected to debut new material.

Julien Baker is also slated to release a collaborative country album with Torres soon, further adding to the excitement surrounding the Boygenius members’ solo projects. Phoebe Bridgers has yet to announce new music.
