**New Delhi, [Date]** – The second day of the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 saw a flurry of new product launches from major automotive companies. Several companies showcased their latest electric vehicles (EVs), including cars, buses, trucks, scooters, and commercial vehicles.
VinFast Auto, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, announced plans to launch its VF 7 and VF 6 electric SUVs in India this year, investing approximately ₹4,250 crore in a new manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. Wave Mobility unveiled its solar-powered EV, the EV-A, priced starting at ₹3.25 lakh (ex-showroom), with plans for commercial production in 2026.
MG Motor India showcased its new MG Meister SUV, the first in its class in India, along with other international models such as the IM5, IM6, MG HS, and MG 7 Trophy Edition. Numerous Motors launched the Diplos Max e-scooter, priced at ₹1.09 lakh, boasting a range of 140 km on a single charge. JBM Electric Vehicles showcased four new electric buses, including the luxury coach Galaxy.
A significant announcement came from Electra Green Tech, which unveiled an electric bus capable of traveling 500 kilometers on a single charge, utilizing advanced batteries from BYD. Ashok Leyland introduced the Sathyam light commercial vehicle and showcased its Garuda 15 premium bus. SML Isuzu entered the electric vehicle market with its Hira EV platform for commercial buses. Lastly, EKA Mobility launched the EKA 55T electric heavy-duty truck with a 200 km range and the EKA 6S six-seater public transport vehicle.
The expo highlighted a significant push towards electric mobility in India, with numerous companies showcasing their commitment to the growing EV market.
