Kotak, 52, currently serves as the head coach of India A and is a long-time staff member of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), where he previously held the position of batting coach. His appointment follows a review of assistant coach Abhishek Nayar’s performance during the Australia tour. Kotak, a former domestic cricketer with an impressive first-class record (8,061 runs in 130 matches), transitioned to coaching after retirement.
