**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, January 16, 2025** – A significant religious ceremony, the ‘Snapana Tirumanjanam’, was conducted today at the Dashashwamedha Ghat in Prayagraj during the ongoing Kumbh Mela. Organized by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the ceremony involved the ritualistic cleansing and adornment of Lord Srinivasa, along with Goddesses Sridevi and Bhudevi.
Led by chief priest Venugopala Deekshitulu, priests performed the ‘Tirumanjanam’, anointing the idols with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood paste, while Vedic scholars chanted the ‘Pancha Suktams.’ The ceremony culminated with the ‘Chakrasnanam’ ritual, where the idol of Lord Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was immersed in the Ganges River amidst chanting and temple music. A special puja was then offered to the deity.
