LOS ANGELES – Tim Allen has hinted at a potential reunion with his former *Home Improvement* costar, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, on his new ABC sitcom, *Shifting Gears*. In an exclusive interview with *Us Weekly*, Allen revealed that Thomas recently visited the set and expressed his desire to work with him again. “Everything is a possibility,” Allen stated, adding, “He’s literally my kid. I raised that kid for eight years on *Home Improvement*.”
While Thomas largely stepped away from acting after leaving *Home Improvement* to focus on his education, he and Allen did reunite for four episodes of *Last Man Standing*. This latest possibility has excited fans, given Thomas’s prolonged absence from the spotlight.
The new sitcom, *Shifting Gears*, sees Allen playing a widowed father opposite Kat Dennings, who plays his estranged daughter. The pair have developed a strong on-screen chemistry, with both actors praising their immediate connection and collaborative comedic style.
