**Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra –** Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple, a sprawling ISKCON temple complex in Khargar, Navi Mumbai, on Wednesday. The Prime Minister lauded the temple’s architecture, describing it as a reflection of India’s rich spiritual and intellectual heritage. He highlighted the diverse depictions of God within the temple and expressed confidence that it would become a significant center of faith and consciousness.

Modi paid emotional tribute to the late Gopal Krishna Goswami, former ISKCON chairman, whose vision he credited as instrumental to the temple’s creation. He also praised the work of ISKCON founder Srila Prabhupada Swami, emphasizing his role in spreading the teachings of the Vedas, Vedanta, and the Bhagavad Gita, particularly during the colonial era.

The Prime Minister connected the temple inauguration with his government’s broader social initiatives, citing the provision of toilets, gas connections, tap water, and healthcare access to the underprivileged as examples of continuous service to the nation. He also mentioned the ongoing development of the “Krishna circuit,” a pilgrimage route connecting religious sites across several states.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, and BJP MP Hema Malini. The new ISKCON temple is expected to become a major religious and cultural landmark in the region.
