**BATON ROUGE, LA** – LSU freshman quarterback Colin Hurley was involved in a single-car accident early Thursday morning near the university’s south gates. Hurley was found unresponsive in his Dodge Charger after it crashed into a tree at the intersection of South Quad Drive and Highland Road around 2:45 am.

First responders found Hurley breathing but unresponsive at the scene. He was extricated from the vehicle by the local fire department and was reported to be drifting in and out of consciousness. Hurley sustained injuries, including a significant facial laceration.
