**VISAKHAPATNAM, January 13, 2025** – Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, called on parents to prioritize sportsmanship and moral values in their children’s upbringing. He made the appeal while attending the 45th-anniversary celebrations of Vignana Vihara Residential School (VVRS) in Gudilova, Anandapuram mandal.

Mr. Varma praised VVRS for its commitment to value-based education, emphasizing that the school focuses on character development alongside academic achievement. The anniversary celebration featured a unique display of 66 simultaneous sporting events completed within an hour, showcasing the talents of the school’s 472 students.

The Minister lauded the school’s management for upholding its legacy and providing a holistic educational experience. Visakhapatnam North MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, Rajya Sabha member Golla Babu Rao, and Vidya Bharati president P.V. Narayana Rao also addressed the gathering, sharing their positive associations with the institution.
