Mon Jan 13 15:06:50 UTC 2025: ## Alappuzha to Host IQA District Quizzing Championship
**Alappuzha, Kerala, January 14, 2025** – The Alappuzha District Administration, in collaboration with the International Quizzing Association (IQA), will host the IQA District Quizzing Championship on January 16th at Mary Immaculate High School, Poomkavu. The competition aims to crown the district’s official quiz champion school.
Students from classes 8 to 12 can participate in teams of two, provided they are registered quiz players on the IQA Asia portal (https://iqa.asia/registration/). Registration costs ₹177. Schools can register up to five teams via a Google form (https://forms.gle/eaE3imxwNkpUVXZG8).
The championship will feature a preliminary and a final round. Winning teams will receive certificates, cash prizes, and the opportunity to advance to the state-level competition. The first-place team will receive the District Collector’s Trophy, and their school will be declared the official district champion.
