**NEW YORK** – Fox News Channel announced a significant programming shift today, filling the weekday 4 p.m. ET slot vacated by Neil Cavuto last month. Will Cain, currently co-host of *Fox & Friends Weekend*, will take the reins with his new show, *The Will Cain Show*, debuting January 21st. The program will feature a “podcast-style” approach to daily news.
Cain’s departure from *Fox & Friends Weekend* will be filled by Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt, who will join Rachel Campos-Duffy. Hurt will also be stepping down as opinion editor of the *Washington Times* to assume his new role.
The network also revealed other scheduling changes, including the expansion of *The Fox Report* and *The Big Weekend Show* to two hours on Saturdays and Sundays beginning January 18th. Furthermore, Dagen McDowell will join *The Big Money Show* on Fox Business Network, expanding its broadcast from noon to 2 p.m. ET weekdays starting January 27th. McDowell will continue her co-hosting duties on *The Bottom Line*. Cain’s podcast will continue, simulcasting on Fox News Digital.
