**Hyderabad, [Date]:** Manda Jagannatham, a former Member of Parliament (MP) representing Nagarkurnool, passed away on Sunday evening. He was receiving treatment at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad for the past few days. Jagannatham, born on May 22, 1951, in Itikyala, Nagarkurnool district, served four terms as an MP, winning elections in 1996, 1999, 2004, and 2009. He won three times on a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) ticket and once on a Congress ticket. He also served as a special representative of the state government in Delhi. Before the last Lok Sabha elections, he joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his condolences, praising Jagannatham’s role as a Nagarkurnool MP and an active participant in the Telangana movement.
