**Kollam, January 12, 2025** – The Kerala State government has reaffirmed its commitment to education, allocating a significant 57% of its total salary expenditure to the sector, Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal announced on Sunday. The announcement was made during the foundation stone laying ceremony for a new ₹1.10 crore building complex at Thrikkunnamangalam Government LP School.

Minister Balagopal highlighted Kerala’s dedication to education, citing the widespread presence of Malayalis globally as testament to the state’s investment in its people.
