**Anaheim, CA** – The 2025 Supercross season kicked off in Anaheim with a thrilling qualifying session. Haiden Deegan showed early speed, setting the fastest lap in the first session with a 1:06.1, but Julien Beaumer ultimately secured the top qualifying spot.

Deegan dominated early in the first session, but fellow contenders quickly emerged. Michael Mosiman initially took an early lead, but was later overtaken by Deegan and Beaumer. Garrett Marchbanks also impressed, consistently placing around fifth. Jordon Smith and Jo Shimoda grabbed the holeshot in the practice start, showcasing their speed. Coty Shock also made an early appearance in the top five.

Unfortunately, the session wasn’t without incident. Mosiman crashed and missed a significant portion of the qualifying session due to bike repairs.

The second qualifying session saw Ryder DiFrancesco improve his pace. Veteran Billy Laninovich, at 41 years old, aims to break his own record as the oldest rider to qualify for a 250SX Main Event.

A notable absence was Levi Kitchen, who withdrew due to illness and will instead compete in the East Coast series. Jo Shimoda finished the first session in seventh place.

The action continues tonight with the main events. The complete qualifying results and race results will be updated throughout the evening. A $500 KTM parts prize is also up for grabs in the KTM Jr. SX Fantasy League, sponsored by Ford Lightning.
