**Los Angeles, CA** – As unprecedented wildfires tear through Los Angeles County, Google is stepping up to assist affected communities. The devastating blazes, some described as the worst in LA history, have consumed thousands of acres, destroyed hundreds of structures, and forced widespread evacuations, including areas near the iconic Hollywood Sign and in affluent neighborhoods like Malibu.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai sent an email to employees emphasizing the importance of collective action, announcing a company-wide campaign to support relief efforts. Google.org, the company’s philanthropic arm, is providing funding and matching employee donations.
