**RAJKOT, INDIA –** Ireland Women put up a strong fight in the first ODI against India Women, posting a challenging 238/7 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Captain Gaby Lewis anchored the Irish innings with a magnificent 92 runs off 129 balls, including 15 boundaries, before being dismissed by Deepti Sharma. Leah Paul also contributed significantly, scoring 59 runs. Arlene Kelly’s late cameo of 28 runs further boosted Ireland’s total.
