**Marietta, GA** – Cobb County is bracing for a significant winter storm expected to hit on Friday, January 10th, prompting a county-wide closure of all government facilities and courts. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect.
The Cobb County Department of Transportation (DOT) has mobilized its crews and prepped more than 430 miles of roadway for treatment and clearing. The department recently completed its annual inclement weather exercise to ensure readiness for such events.
