**Bengaluru, January 9, 2025** – Award-winning actor Kishore has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the 16th Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes), Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced today. The festival, running from March 1st to 8th, will showcase over 200 films from 60 countries across 13 screens.

Mr. Siddaramaiah stated that Mr. Kishore embodies the festival’s theme, “Sarva Janangada Shantiya Thota” (A Garden of Peace for All People). Kishore, known for his work in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, recently appeared in Rajinikanth’s *Vettaiyan*. The BIFFes promises a diverse selection of international films.
