**JAIPUR, INDIA –** Poco is launching its highly anticipated Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro smartphones today in India. The launch event, taking place in Jaipur at 5:30 PM IST, will be livestreamed on Poco’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
The X7 series, expected to remain within the sub-Rs 30,000 price bracket, promises impressive features. While official pricing remains undisclosed, leaks suggest the Poco X7 Pro could be priced under Rs 30,000, with the standard X7 potentially falling between Rs 20,000 and Rs 22,000. Both models will be available on Flipkart.
Poco has confirmed that both phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipsets; the X7 by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra and the X7 Pro by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra. The devices boast significant improvements over their predecessors. The Poco X7 features a 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with 3000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and impressive water and dust resistance (IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings). The Pro model is anticipated to have a slightly larger 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Camera capabilities are also noteworthy. The Poco X7 includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS and EIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 20MP front camera. The Pro model is expected to feature a similar setup, though potentially with upgraded sensors. Battery life promises to be robust, with a 6,550mAh battery and 90W fast charging for the Pro model, and a 5,110mAh battery in the standard X7. Both devices will run on the latest HyperOS 2.0.
