**NEW DELHI –** The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 later today. Candidates who took the exam on December 14, 2024, can access their results on the official CTET website using their application number and date of birth. The results will be released alongside the final answer key.

A provisional answer key was released on January 1, 2025, with a deadline for objections set for January 5, 2025. To qualify, general category candidates need to score at least 60% (90 marks out of 150), while reserved category candidates require a minimum of 55% (82.5 marks). Successful candidates will be eligible to apply for teaching positions in CBSE-affiliated schools.

The December 2024 CTET exam was administered in two shifts: Paper 1 (for classes 1-5) from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm and Paper 2 (for classes 6-8) from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Stay tuned to NDTV.com for further updates.
