**KANNIYAKUMARI, January 9, 2025** – A Special Sub-Inspector (SSI) of the Suchindram police station in Kanniyakumari has been suspended on corruption charges. Satheesh Kumar was suspended following an investigation launched by Kanniyakumari Superintendent of Police (P) R. Stalin. The investigation was initiated after a complaint was filed alleging that Kumar accepted a bribe from a temple administrator. The SP’s probe reportedly confirmed the allegations, leading to the SSI’s immediate suspension.
